The Israeli Arabs are why Israel has strange gun laws. They don't want the Arabs armed, so their gun laws have some "may issue" discretion and favor ex-military. How are they handling that post 10/7 where they are expanding gun ownership?
The Ultra-Orthodox are becoming more unpopular because their numbers are growing and they are, or were, immune to military service.
But Israel is a clear case of "hang together or they will hang separately" so they will get along somehow.
