Unless the microwave has been physically damaged, IE: smashed on the floor it is very unlikely that it would be leaking, and if it has been physically damaged why the heck are you still using it?
If it makes noises: if they are crackling noises and you see any indication of arcing or flashes stop using it. If it makes a hmmm type of noise the power supply is going bad.
