So, is it wrong to tell investors your technology can do something it can't do? Yes. Is it 11-years-in-prison wrong? I'm not sure about that. I kind of feel like billionaires who are putting $100M at a time into a startup technology company have a different level of investor protection than you and me putting our retirement savings into a money-market account.
