#FediCoven Q9 Show something worthless but valuable to your practice.

This week, I had a conversation with a young witchling who felt he didn't have the money to start his practice. There is so much we can purchase for our practice, especially the witchy stuff, that it can be blinding. For me, I often feel monetary value can cheapen things. In my practice the most worthless pebble, can be the most valuable tool.

Take these items, none of them cost me more than a couple of euros, if anything. In an economic sense, it's all pretty much trash. The little bottles I use for spelljars, were literally next to the bins. I've found shell, seeds, twigs, pebbles, even sand that resonates with me. Things that line my path. Keeping my eyes open and asking my friends, family, and neighbours to do the same for me, has amassed me a fortune of precious, worthless things.

I adore witchy paraphernalia, I really do, but let's not let our spirituality be just one more thing about existence that gets sold back to us at a markup price.
