I pointed out conflicts between the modern teachings of Christianity and MAGA dogma to my baptized-Catholic son who supports Trump and who recently told me he now identifies as a born-again Christian. From my perspective, it seemed to be a fruitless conversation. Of course one never knows the longterm effects of what one says to another.
