I can't think of a good answer either. After all, the only reason to buy a Mac is macOS. And the only reason to use macOS for me is for software that does not support Linux. (No, it's not Linux does not support software XYZ, it's the other way round actually.)

My MacBook Pro 2017 has overheating issues, so I got myself this MacBook Air M2, which I had to downgrade to Sequoia in order to use my mobile audio interface.

I guess I'll sell that MacBook Pro 2017 on Ebay with a honest description of its issues. It seems to me selling old Apple gear is always the better option, Linux then can be installed on the 2 used Thinkpads you get from selling 1 old MacBook. 🤪

I installed macOS Monterey in VirtualBox in my Thinkpad, but i must say this in practice doesn't work as intended. But so doesn't Windows 10, mine quit its service in VirtualBox.

All because Audinate don't want to provide Dante Virtual Soundcard and Dante Controller for Linux.
