They helped her think about it from a different perspective, how even if this was fairly innocent, what if it wasn’t? What would she do, what would they have done. Then the scouts who were on the bus together, who saw what happened, who took some action then, decided they should let an adult know, and went themselves to the camp director to report it, not so much to get the other scout in trouble, but so a staffer could talk about why his actions were a problem and teach about consent.
