Oh, who could have ever guessed that the attacks upon trans people would lead into wider harm on the queer community? Oh, who could have warned all the LGB pick-me’s that they would be next? Oh, who might have possibly been screaming at the top of their lungs in desperation and urgency as an entire community to stand in solidarity rather than throw us under the bus???

TLDR: there’s been a 10 percentage point drop in support for same-sex marriage and LG relations being “morally acceptable” in the US. This has been driven by a large drop among republicans and a plateau among non-republicans.
