wow, in 2022, I was alone in a summer cabin without heating or insulation and lasted till mid November. No other bodies to keep warm with (!!) , because that happened after a traumatic breakup. So to survive, I insulated myself in what I called my 'survival room' - the bathroom (only space with a door that could be closed), I had a small electric heater (on lowest setting) and insulated the room with blankets, towels and pillows. I managed to make it warm and cozy while the rest of the shalet was barely above 0 Celsius. I did my online work inside my 'safe room' and all my daily activities.At night, I'd carry the heater upstairs and heat up the sleeping space first, then turn off the heat and sleep under a pile of duvets. The lowest outside temp was around minus 3 Celsius at night.
