We have 2 electric heaters onboard. One is new from last year, the other is 8 years old(same model). They weren't fitted with a filter, so cleaning dust out of them is not easy. The manual says to just suck up the dust with a vacuum, but it doesn't get everything.
I can take the older model apart to clean it, removing the screws using a hex key(although in the manual they discourage opening the unit to clean it, even if it's the best way to get all of the dust bunnies out of it).
But the newer model was fitted with tamper-resistant hex screws. And yep, we do not have a matching hex key on hand currently
