So now the Court of Tangerine Tyrant is looking to raise taxes on incomes above $2.5m to around 40%, reverting to earlier levels, while isley also rising the tax threshold for 'ordinary' Americans.
This reflects a emerging (but partial) pattern for the Right (see also the ReformUK 'Contract') which marries a socially & politically right wing position with a more progressive (leftish) position on economic issues.....
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
