2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 barspoons humbug spices
1 barspoon maple syrup
1 oz apple brandy
1 oz rye
Garnish: orange peel
Method: Combine all ingredients with ice in a stirring glass and stir. Strain over a large rock, express orange peel, and garnish.
I saw this original from Matthew Whitworth (npub1yu2…6y7j) and knew I had to stir it up pronto! It uses a fun combo ingredient called Humbug Spices from Brian "shakerofspirits" Maxwell (see link for recipe). A delicious sipper!
