I went to the reservoir in Inniscarra yesterday evening to capture the sunset. It had been a glorious day and I saw there would be a smattering of cloud at sunset, which might make for a dramatic picture.
There was cloud, but it was mostly at the horizon in a thick, impenetrable bank. The sun set several too early, with barely a glimmer of yellow, but twenty minutes later I was treated to a spectacular display of colour.
