Tiktok (and cap cut) is banned for allegedly keeping Internet usage data on Americans.
Meanwhile, Meta (#Facebook, #Instagram, what's app), alphabet (#Google), #Microsoft, and #Apple (and almost every other USA Corp) continue to have free reign over the misuse of USians data.
Without knowing the whole story, I can speculate that the right people aren't making enough money from #Tiktok. And that the information passing through TK isn't correctly regulated (or fact checked).
