#WritersCoffeeClub 9/24: "Do you write primarily for yourself or for a reader?"

I write the kind of stories I would like to read, and of course, I am happy whenever other people seem to enjoy reading them, but I rarely write with a specific reader in mind, the exception being "Der Torfschuppenmord" (the title translates to "The Peat Shed Murder"). That was written for my mother, because she likes murder mysteries, and her favourite characters among my usual cast got to play important roles.
