Listening to Travels with Charley: In Search of America, a classic by John Steinbeck, narrated by Gary Sinise.

Steinbeck and his poodle, Charley, set out on a road trip across America in a camper truck named Rocinante. It's an interesting look at American life, culture, and the changing landscape of the early 1960s, told through Steinbeck's observations and reflections along the way.

To say I'm drawing parallels and finding inspiration in his journey with Charley as I prepare for my own with Moxie (nprofile…vjkf) would be an understatement.

It's a fascinating book. Check it out.
