#writersCoffeeClub 17. What are the defining traits of your niche in your genre?
When I was trying for traditional publication, my problem was that the fantasy trilogy didn't fit into any of the niches the publishers were looking to fill. It was considered old fashioned and didn't include the things that were trending at the time.
However, I'm hoping that when I self-publish the novels next year, there might be at least a few people who will enjoy a (possibly?) old-fashioned portal fantasy.
