On the subject of the post, consciousness is either disconnected from behavior and arbitrarily allocated into objects (this is animism; an LLM is no more or less likely to be conscious than a rock) or consciousness is a driver of behavior and a part of the human decision making process (we fully understand how LLMs make decisions, we can do the math on paper given enough time, LLMs are not on the 'spectrum of consciousness').
