I feel bad for fosstodon. It's not easy to run an instance and I have no idea how to properly govern mod appointments and keep everyone happy and such.
That said, I read the latest guy's blog post and it's deeply ignorant and deranged at best and a huge pile of red flags at worst, and I have to wonder at how they keep picking people like this — who are deeply out of step with the fediverse's culture and norms — as moderators.
