I don't believe it's ultimately possible to limit. I teach my children right and wrong; good and bad and trust they will learn. Don't watch wasteful hurtful stuff whether on the internet or on the news. Observe yourself for what various platforms and contents do to your mind and wellbeing and then make decisions accordingly. Eg I had to leave Facebook 18 years ago when I realized it made me feel rotten.
