"In neighboring Ohio, state lawmakers were considering a bill that would have called for genital inspections of student-athletes suspected of being transgender."

1. Stop falsifying sex on birth certificates.

2. A cheek swab is not a "genital inspection."

3. Male children already are required to have a "genital inspection" at their yearly sports physical, commonly known as the 'turn and cough' test. Males who pretend to be girls should be no different.

4. Doctors, parents, and school officials should not be lying about the sex of the children in their care.

5. The bill would not require "genital inspections." It would require the above.
