Not only hospitalized. I just recently stopped needing it at home! For 5 years I was on 24/7 IV nutrition & hydration & I had to use heparin twice a day changing my lines! There are very many people on IV nutrition, hydration, home IV, etc. Most people have no idea where the ingredients in med supplies come from, like when medical saline supply from Puerto Rico stopped during hurricane Maria, & the epi pen shortage! It’s so dangerous for more than anyone realizes. 😢
