Cuchulainn's balls! But that was one bastard Monday!
First, I'm back in the classroom with a growing migraine the entire day. Then my wife called me to say her dentist appt. was running late, so I had to take the kid to her 2 hour swim practice.
And that's annoying but to-be-expected parenting stuff, but then, my wife texts me she's still at the dentist and not feeling well. Then she voice notes that she's on the way to the hospital. I ask if we should go meet her and she replies yes.
I pull my daughter out of the pool, get her changed, drop her off at the neighbors' and get to our hospital. She's okay, but had a weird reaction to the lidocaine the dentist gave her and nearly passed out. She had to be there for 8 hours under observation for poisoning. She's fine, just tired. I stayed there until late, but couldn't really leave our kid overnight, so I just got back, barely eaten all day, and just can't wait to see what else the week has in store for me!
