I'm in no rush here. I have a 2021 MBP — which replaced a 2013 MBP — and it's the best machine I've ever owned. Without doubt, if it died, I'd buy another (new) one. I also (just about, still) don't mind the gilded cage. (It's quite comfy. And has good apps.)
But it'a also time for a hedge. That'll be Linux. This year maybe.
I **can't** though have some horrible plastic brick. It needs to be **nice**.
So that's where I'm at.
