NYC has a lot of schools, a lot of young people and there are not enough sports, clubs, and extra curricular activities for the young people.
In the south Bronx the fast food restaurants have bouncers who don't let the teens in unless they can show they purchased something on their phone or convince the guy they are there to buy something.
The kids aren't "bad" they are just teens and there are too many with nothing to do.
From 3 to 6pm their parents are still at work.
