I need to calm down and understand that people have always been terrified of the possibilities in this world, people have always been selfish and insufferable, people have always been confused. I would be just as miserable in the 1950s as I would be in the 1300s as I am now. Human beings are miserable creatures and we all suffer in our own, warped ways.
