Sure, they may whomp your ass, kidnap you or even kill you for doing any of these things (or even if you don't do these things), but they're operating totally outside the law.
The law is utterly meaningless when it comes to protecting working people, but let's not pretend these overstuffed rent-a-cops have powers they don't.
