Son again having a real fun day with Deutsche Bahn again: Two different seat reservations canceled automatically (original from a few weeks ago plus the alternative booked last night). DB staff completely useless, no single source of truth available. The website says seats are available, yet the system is canceling them hours after booking and just couple of hours before traveling. Emails superseding info on mobile app and website, just complete mess... no idea which to trust. There might be eventual consistency in their system, but the delays until that's reached is super unhelpful...

I thought UK trains were the worst I knew (in different aspects), but DB keeps working super hard to win that race... chronic underfunding by government obviously a big contributor...
