I very much hope 2026 is the year when corporate criminals who unjustly enrich themselves to the tune of millions of pounds—dodgy PPE spivs, Post Office executives etc.—end up getting at least the same kind of treatment from the government as, say, those who went a fiver over the earnings limit for Carer’s Allowance.
Won’t hold my breath though.
