#WordWeavers 2/12 What would you tell a fellow writer who was struggling with self-doubt?
ME: Self-doubt? Well, of course you have self-doubt! All of us have self doubt as writers, and that's a good thing. It means you have standards, that you recognize that you have limitations and, most importantly, that you're open to learning from your mistakes. Self doubt is the hallmark of a creative writer.
FELLOW WRITER: Wow! Thanks, I feel so confident now!
ME: (Facepalming) No, no. You still don't get it.
