You answer it, but it's too loud to hear anything. You go outside to the parking lot disco. Dancers twirl and grind silently around you.

"Hello?" you repeat.

"Have I caught you at a bad time?"

The line of people waiting to get into the coffee shop starts to do The Wave. Cafe dancers take to the roof. A party bus arrives.

"It's fine," you tell the caller.

"Great. Thanks for taking my call. The name's John. John Mastodon. We should talk."
