I’m on a walk right now and I just saw a particularly chonky ambulance drive past. It turns out it’s one of Berlin’s mobile stroke units. They have an on-board CT and laboratory machines for doing bloodwork so they can diagnose a stroke and start medication during transport to the hospital. It’s pretty cool stuff, even though I hope I’ll never need one!
