1) The protocol is neat.
2) People seem pretty chill. Things can get heated occasionally, but it's usually the Bitcoin stuff I don't have as much of a stake in, so it's pretty easy to get along with people.
3) People seem to share a lot of my interests. The other week RogueHashrate (nprofile…4463) and I were chatting in Shavian. I've never met somebody outside of Nostr - on the Internet or IRL - that even knew what it was (an alternative phonetic alphabet). It seems to attract people of similar wavelengths.
