If there's really heaven and afterlife, and if it's so much better than Earth human life, why do people who believe in that, including religious leaders, don't want to die? For example, the pope diagnosed with cancer who goes after medical treatment, so he doesn't die and goes to heaven?
PS: I somewhat believe in the afterlife, but this is some food for thought.
