I remember watching Empire Strikes Back for the first time when I was 13, and it was the DVD special editions. The scene that always stuck out in my mind was when the Emperor tells Vader that "this young rebel who destroyed the Death Star is the son of Anakin Skywalker" and Vader says he doesn't see how that's possible, and even then it seemed weird that Vader wouldn't already know who Luke was, given the rebellion had been going on for three years at that point. Not to mention it makes no sense why the Emperor would say "the son of Anakin Skywalker" instead of "your son."
