I'm not sure I should continue asking about this, as I don't want to sound aggressive nor suspicious, as I'm not either.
The short of it was that I assumed the overhead of individuals renting from masto.host would be collectively at least 20% more expensive than mementomori, for the same amount of active users. (Because cost of work etc.)
But if you assume only ⅒ pays, then the math starts to work.I was a bit more optimistic how many would be willing to pay, that's all :)
