Yeah that's my thing, if this was the Plex of 10 years ago then I think it'd be an investment in 10 years of usage but now they've been making so many decisions that show they're REALLY trying to make money that I wouldn't be comfortable dropping so much money on a "lifetime" pass.
In their announcement they even said that the price increase is in lieu of removing lifetime passes altogether. It's obvious they want people on subscriptions forever
