"Lifetime" should always be in quotes. If the company goes belly-up tomorrow that lifetime was, well, mayfly kinda thing.
And there's always the "We can discontinue this version at any time and say that was it's lifetime clause, so now you can subscribe to the new, supported version..." clause somewhere.
