I *think* this was the tutorial I looked at (linked) - it’s quite good because it shows how to secure the start and end of the rows.
You’re basically working alternating rows of colours (not carrying the other colour(s)). SC BLO unless you want the colour to “drop” to the row of the same colour below in which case it’s DC into the FL of the stitch 2 rows below. Sounds weird, but makes sense when you start!
