chat do you ever wonder what it would have been like with just slightly different life experiences.
had it not been for meeting the right wing anitwitter folks about a decade ago, i could very well have the complete opposite political views. like many people back then, i was vaguely left-leaning with edgy gamer priors, and still imagining c*nservatives as stodgy boomer faggots who wanted to ban violent video games and censor anime.
it's entirely possible i could have toned down the edgy gamer humor over time as the culture changed, or perhaps even ended up as one of those cringe millennials playing up troll's remorse for clout. my giving a shit about politics phase could have been filled with edgy communist aesthetics instead of edgy nazi aesthetics.
if i hadn't ended up here with my current group of friends and mutuals, it's very unlikely i'd have found God and become christian. i could still be one of those edgelord satanists who didn't really believe in anything but malding internally that regular atheism was made cringe by reddit.
or maybe the timing would have just been different and i'd have become a gaboid. terrifying thought!
