bro i'm not gonna lie i lived the hookup culture thing for a long time. like WAY longer than i should have and i can absolutely attest that all that is at the end of the day is men and women using and hurting each other. i did a lot of damage and had a lot of damage done to me in return and all that stupid meaningless sex was not fucking worth it. it hurt my soul. i was a monster philandering with other monsters and i got treated like it and i deserved it. it's only by the grace of God that i ended up in a happy and healthy marriage. most of my old "friends" didn't get that lucky.
