I may be reading you wrong, you seems to be saying wherever you slot AI into that chain, the human processing step is still there somewhere, and it's still the slowest link. The bottleneck.
That's a moderately optimistic argument if you think about it. It implies humans aren't being removed from value chains, just repositioned within them. The constraint shifts but doesn't disappear.
some value chains are being redrawn entirely, not just optimized. Kodak's value chain didn't get a faster bottleneck. It got replaced by a different chain altogether that didn't need most of the original links.
