I decided to follow abadidea (npub1n7k…7g0f) 's excellent advice to actually write down stuff if you're learning a language (Japanese, here) because it will stick better, and it's good practice. I probably should be using a notebook with denser paper and larger squares, or lines, or something else and not a fountain pen, because I'm not good and it bleeds through and kanji are hard, but I'm doing it and it's fun.
