The economists of the 17th century (probably even before 🤷) started unveiling the laws of economics (with a somewhat limited level of success). These laws were something that oligarchs couldn't dismantle, doesn't matter how many distractions and coercion they would use. And these laws were universal to all humans and to all social interactions, like having a game where no one could have privileged control of the rules.
I think the deception I'm talking about comes from trying to supplant these economic rules in the heads of people, trying to replace them with supposedly "universal" principles to make people feel pride for something that isn't the real deal, do you know what I mean?
Putting a burden on the citizens of a specific country to "protect" some difficult or even unattainable principles when, in fact, the real stuff is already available, fair and practically unstoppable. A person would just need to make A Priori analyses to find these economic principles, just like humanity has done for millennia with mathematics; and they would have access to all of them
