I think its an Okay Game. But a lot of what's holding it back for me is the Tedium. The runbacks are tedious. The quests are tedious. The ENDLESS NO REASON GAUNTLETS are tedious. It definitely feels like some of the magic from Hollow Knight is lost. Lots of the lore and world building feels disjointed so far.
It is also like, designed with the assumption you'll do multiple playthroughs I feel
