"content": "NIGHT NURSE\n\n\n\n- 1 oz Jamaican Blended Aged Rum ❸\n\n- 1 oz Punt e Mes\n\n- ¾ oz Campari\n\n- ½ oz overproof Pot Still Lightly Aged Rum ❶\n\n- ¼ oz Cynar\n\n- 1 tsp banana liqueur\n\n- 1 tsp coffee liqueur\n\n\n\nStir // Strain // Garnish: orange peel\n\n\n\nWhen I first saw this list of ingredients I thought it sounded too complicated, but it really was a nice combo. I went for my best bottle of Hampden, the 2010 LROK expression, combined with the classic OP Jamaican pot still Smith \u0026 Cross.\n\n\n\nThe rums get elevated by the banana liqueur which brings out their funk, while the three amari and coffee liqueur form a four-layer wall of bitter that reins it back in to a place of balance.
