The least boring part of this setup is that I turned my laptop into a Nintendo Switch. What do you mean, the name is taken? Fine, I’ll call it the Nintendo Switch 2! Happy?!
Basically, there are two magnetic USB-C plugs. One goes into a hub (USB switch to a keyboard and mouse, and HDMI), the other is just for power. Ideally, I would only need one plug, but none of my hubs (admittedly cheap) will charge the laptop for some reason. A problem for another day.
