Native people are humans living in the same destructive fiat systems as everyone else, exposed to the same negative incentives. The fairy tale native narrative is simply that.
Before second arrival of humans to the continent they were individuals desperately trying to survive, again no different than everyone else but this does not justify the atrocities committed by the newcomers and the religious mind viruses which accompanied them.
All this to say the land will be developed, exploited, monopolized its just a matter of time.
