The whole thing with The Day Before and other scam zombie games like it is just baffling to me. There's so many real good zombie games. Zomboid does everything so many of them promise, No More Room In Hell fixed their game if you want a more mission based game. If you liked This War of Mine there's a zombie version of that now.
Why do people fall for these perfect promise games when promises have already been fulfilled by other devs?
It's the same issue with Star Citizen. Why bleed your finances when the space game you want surely already exists? I remember playing No Mans Sky and Starsector and thinking to myself "just these two games by themselves are almost everything Star Citizen is promising." It just doesn't have bombastic celebrities and AAAA gigabucks with investors sucking each other off, so people don't think it's worth their while I guess.
