Unfortunately, some people have a point. AI is likely to replace a significant number of SWE jobs, and assuming you might be an exception because you’re better or irreplaceable could be overly optimistic. There’s a lot of money betting on this shift.
I’m not sure where the future of SWE is heading. Maybe it’s worth embracing LLMs…or maybe not.
